what do you expect the facility to be like when the owner is GAY and considered a FAG! I would not even put my DOG there ! much less a loved one of mine! Magnolia assisted living is owned and operated by a GAY boy! wake up people don't put your loved ones in that mess! watch out don't let the bed bugs bite your loved ones!!!!!

I just put my realitive in this home and now .It smells musty the air is gross .And all of the carpets need to be removed. and I am not sure but I think it also has bed bugs. the staff was great and the owner was also great. I no that this is and old house But it needs some up grades BAD.

Highly recommend for senior adults with minimal assistance. My dad has been there a year now and loves it - this is home.

My siblings and I placed my mother The Magnolias several months ago after a bad experience with another local assisted living facility. The facility my mom was removed from looked like the Ritz Carlton and cost 50% more than The Magnolias. The staff at The Magnolias are very attentive and extremely good at communicating to the family any issue that may arise. You cannot do any better for Assisted Living Senior care than The Magnolias in my opinion. Its as close as being home with the family as you can get in my opinion.

The exterior is deceiving. While it may look to be a warm place from the outside, it only covers up the disappointment on the inside. My father was a resident of The Magnolias for a couple of years. The weekend staff is great. They took care of things regarding his care and didn't complain. It's the weekday staff that caused our departure from the facility. I'm not going to say that my father was not a handful to take care of. However, he was left for hours at a time sitting in urine and made multiple trips to the doctor and hospital because of urinary tract infections because he was not taken care of in a timely manner. The weekday staff wouldn't do anything except the bare minimum of what they had to do to get by and complained about him constantly which led to him being asked to leave the facility. This facility claims to have "incontinence care" but don't be fooled. Even if you pay the extra price for it, you will find your parent wallowing in filth. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!
