Termeer and Associates/Termeer Design Group is a Custom Home builder who I contracted with to build my house. All plumbing was done by Termeers sub contractor, New Tex Plumbing. Our contract specifications called for conventional hot water heaters. The house was plumbed for conventional hot water heaters. The Termeer site supervisor ordered Rinnai tankless water heaters to be installed in our house without our permission. New Tex installed the Rinnai tankless water heaters. When we moved into the house, we could not get hot water at our faucets. New Tex sent out 3 different plumbers on 5 occasions during the first 2 months after we moved in. New Tex tried to convince us the problem was the water-conserving filters on our faucets. Billy, the New Tex owners son told me he is a master plumber and the problem was the water-conserving faucets. However the hot water pipe needed to be cut/capped, so each unit would operate individually. I had to hire my own plumber to diagnose the problem.
