My friend picked up these two dogs on his way back home on Friday near Houston. The Conroe Veterinary Clinic Inc. took them in to scan them for microchips. It came back they were but not updated. One of the employees kept these two dogs and has now handed them off to someone they know who lives in Porter Heights. The owners of the dogs came forward and reached out to me yesterday because they saw my posting about them that we had found them. We made contact with this veterinary to ask where the dogs were. We were met with defensiveness and lies. Told they never kept animals, they did not in fact ever see these animals, they never came in, that he must of left them outside, no one had a clue what we were talking about. I just had a lengthy conversation with the owner of this establishment. Also met with lies and incompetency. I explained to him over and over again the situation and that law enforcement is now involved. Just admit to us where the animals went or who has them so this family can get their animals back. It's that simple. The employee who works the desk has admitted that IN FACT the employee from Friday had them in her possession and gave them to someone. I've never seen something more unethical. As a veterinarian it is your responsibility to care for animals. And you are so caught up with trying to cover your a** that you'd rather law enforcement get involved and tell lies then do whats right.

I guess I will be known as the crazy lady who let her dog have puppies. My shih-tzu got pregnant before I could get her fixed. It was not a good thing but I love her and am paying for this mistake myself. She is OK and I have six healthy puppies to bottle feed. Not easy for a 62 year old grandmom with authritis issues. My point is the important thing now is keeping those baby's fed and alive with the least problems. I am on social security and am completely broke from vet fees and puppy milk. I had to change there milk over the weekend. Vets office was closed. But they did tell me I could get the same stuff at Walmart or petstores. NOT- changing the formula is hard on puppy who already has a tough road to go. I called vets office with no money of my own, very little gas. And a brother in Houston with a busy day and credit card to help.( excellent bothers I have) anyway I told the young lady. First I asked her if puppies could get pneumonia from milk in there nose (she said "I don't know) I told her I needed nuturall-c puppy milk replacement powder. She was rude about helping me. Especially the payment plan ? She quoted me the price 21.99 each can and three bottles. I suffer from acute anxiety and put everything into putting this together to ensure plenty of milk for pups this week. When I reached the vets office with like an hour before the next feeding to spare and my brother in meetings and out of pocket. There were at least 5 or 6 girls behind counter all huddled on one computer with 4 pet owners at the counter some sitting down no one being helped. This is frustrating. I finally got someone to grab my stuff which was paid for. At least get one person on there way. But no not over yet.I was handed 2 little cartons of premixedformula lasted till this morning and the three bottles. I sit here broke no way to go anywhere with six hungry 11 day old pupsstressing completely out. Yes I was upset could not help it this was high stress for no reason. All those employees and no help and no knowledge. I did pay money and I do have some question. The puppies are important lets focus on the health of the pups and maybe treat the pet owner with a little respect and customer service. I am an office manager by experience. That office needs leadership. I still have questions and a little powder from this weekends buy. But these poor babies have to go back to that milk because in the end I was told the vet does not have the milk on my receipt I bought there. If they cared about the pups they would have made sure I had enough milk. Instead they sent me off in a huff crying yelling at me as I went out the door. That's the story. Yes I am embarassedand feeling like a dissed senior with hungry pup. Was I so wrong?
