The Coyote Ridge Corrections Center is a minimum-custody facility that works with a team of more than 200 staff members. It maintains a more than 132,000-square-foot facility. The center also offers religious and Catholic services. The Coyote Ridge Corrections Center offers basic educational classes and vocational programming in information technology and building maintenance through Walla Walla Community College. Its more than 100 offenders are hired by are involved in jobs that provide services to surrounding communities public agencies and nonprofit organizations to maintain properties, buildings, parks, roads, water lines and sewage systems. The center is a member of the American Correctional Association. The Coyote Ridge Corrections Center is governed by the Department of Corrections.
