General Info
Hi I'm Michael Gaskill previously homeless for five years, Military veteran, Clergy, Mental Health Worker, Writer, Artist and Musician In 1992 became homeless due to my own foolish addictions and rebelliousness. I then began selling a homeless newsletter for $1.00 but it cost me $.35 as a jobless, homeless drug addict this was not easy. I then began writing for this newsletter and donating my art, music and writing to the paper called Sparechange, in Boston MA, however I finally got it together and saw sadness and despair I then decided I had a chance to help people that had a hard time helping themselves. I helped all types of people abused runaways, drug addicts, homeless veterans and homeless people in general. Of course there were too many scam artists looking for a free ride tha'ts when I stepped up to the plate. Giving people drug and alcohol referrals, clothing, food and the opportunity to work under a vending license so they could sell their art, music, jewelry all made by them or other homeless people. At one point I was given the nickname Pastor G. because I was giving direction and guideance, I also received another nickname based on the way I did my artwork call LiL'Picasso and the FaceMan they stuck. I sold my original art and music for money to help the cause of helping the homeless help themselves, even in my times of trouble and tragedy even incarceration I turned my life around back to where I started back in 1991 helping people and not getting into trouble, we all make bad decisions but repeating them gives no resolution but doing the right thing bringing yourself back to the society you once hurt is priceless. So help me help the people that want to be back on track so their lives will be better too.
