New Hampshire Local Government Center, located in Concord, N. H., houses the New Hampshire Municipal Association, HealthTrust, Property-Liability Trust and Workers' Compensation Trust. The New Hampshire Municipal Association was founded in 1941 and reorganized as the local government center in 2003 to serve the member cities and towns. It provides various programs and services on a variety of issues, problems and benefits. It also provides risk-management services and serves as a resource of information. It acts as an advocate, advisor, educator and a trainer. The center offers a wide range of personnel services to its members through its human resources department. Its other services include legal advisory, professional recruitment and law lecture series. In addition, New Hampshire Local Government Center s human resources department offers various other services that include providing sample job descriptions of municipal positions and information and answers on human resource related question and problems.
