The New Hampshire Fish and Game's Law Enforcement Division is responsible for the enforcement of laws, rules and regulations related to fish, wildlife and marine resources in New Hampshire. It oversees the prosecution of cases involving offenders of wildlife law. The division also handles search and rescue operations and enforces off-highway recreational vehicle regulations. The New Hampshire Fish and Game's Law Enforcement Division provides hikeSafe, a program to educate hikers on the risks and planning related to hiking. Its other program includes Operation Game Thief, which offers opportunities to report poachers and wildlife law violators. The division is governed by the N.H. Fish and Game Department in New Hampshire.
