Had a great experience with my daughters and granddaughter. Very friendly service.
DO NOT GO HERE! This place is terrible at nails and waxing eyebrows. I got mine waxed over a month ago and the woman did a horrible job. She completely took off half of my left eyebrow and it still has YET to grow back..after a MONTH! When I complained to the manager, the girl told me I was a LIAR about disliking them. Excuse me? The manager was even looking at my eyebrows as if there wasn't anything wrong with them..um hello, you went to school for this?! My friends nails were crooked and mine lasted about two weeks when they were acrylic gel nails. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
DOES NOT DESERVE A RATING! TALK ABOUT RUINING MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY!!! Tony & his crew, the worst ever! He argued with my daughter about my granddaughters nails. He had my granddaughter almost in tears! Who does that??? She will never go back and I don't blame her. so much for her having a nice birthday, thanks Tony & your staff!
I went once and the man did my nails they sort of crooked but but It was only nail. I went back a second time recently and the woman did my nails. She is horrible at doing nails!!. I wanted a full set and she put on tips! She also did not check to see if they were crooked and they were aweful!! Some longer than the other. I honestly do not want to ever go back there again. When she painted them (with my polish) I told her she would first have to use the base coat underneath the glitter so it would not show though. She reassured me "oh no. I'll cost over it" You can still see STRAIGHTS through it. Top nails is the best place! They may close a little early but my nails are always perfect when I go there. Can't wait for them to fix them Monday!
I went there about a year ago bc my friend recommended the place. I usually go to a small salon on hwy 29. But I decided to try this place out. I went there and I loved the setting. The place was clean and the man was very nice and sweet. I got stuck with this lady named Vi. She was nice but her skills gots to go! It was like she was trying to rush to get my fill-in done! They were not even busy! She did have a friend there getting a pedi though. And all her attention was on her...and not on my nails. The outcome was horrible! Crooked nails...it was uneven and it looks horrible! I didn't complain to them though bc if I did, it wouldn't be pretty. And you know for a fact I went the next day to my usual salon and they hooked me up right! It's called Forever Nails. Best place in town!
I have only been living in Concord for 2 weeks now and been looking for a nail salon, now this was my first pick even though other reviews were not the greatest but still wanted to give them a chance and I'm glad I did. Vicky was awesome and so curtious about my nails (I'm a nail biter) she focused on my nails and not talking to other employees (which has happened in the past with previous salons).The owner of the salon greeted me and he was nice and attentive also made sure all customers were taken care of. I will definitely be going back to get my nails does again..
I have been going to Viva for four years and they have been consistantly superb in manicures, pedicures, and eyebrows. Honestly, the people that work there are like family. Definitely try this place out. You'll never go anywhere else.
This salon, it's owner and staff,strive to please the customer,they go far above what's expected.It is an upscale salon,like no other,around any where.They immediately make everyone feel welcome as they enter,and appreciated as they leave.They actually care more about their clients than the nails.They immediately get started on you,and complete the services in a very timely manor.They offer you something to drink,and are extremely friendly .They perform excellent services.They are
expanding to twice their size ,what other business can say that?If they weren't the best,they wouldn't be able to do this.If you are negative when you leave,that just means you arrived with a negative attitude.Perhaps you had a bad day,and just decided to take it out on the salon.I just left the salon again today,Tony,the owner,did a fantastic job,and made me feel really appreciated.Approximately 85 percent of the clients are repeats,the remainder 15 percent are new comers from word of mouth.Visit the salon,it's beautiful,and a very relaxing atmosphere.I recommend it to all my friends, you will to,give them a try,you'll be glad you did.
If there were 10 stars to give, I'd give 10 stars. I've been going to Viva Nails & Spa for over 4 years. During this time I have received timely and excellent service. I've always been greeted by name and made to feel at "home" even if I have to wait a few minutes. Of all the salons/spas I have visited, this is the only place I return to month after month for pedicures and for pink and white nails. The owner, Tony, does a phenomenal job of speaking to every client like his friend or family and making sure the service by all the nail techs is top notch.
I am sorry for the previous reviewers who seem to have bad experiences but I can only comment that I have never had this experience in the 4+ years I have frequented this salon.
This was the WORST experience in a nail salon I've ever had. I went in for an acrylic french manicure. The woman told me to sit and started working on my nails, not even bothering to ask what I wanted, in fact, she didn't even say hello to me. I told her I wanted them short and how I'd like them shaped and she didn't respond. I mentioned they were too long and she said they looked good...I guess my opinion on my own nails didn't matter! She was done with my nails in 20 minutes which is the fastest I've ever had a full acrylic set done. It was obvious she rushed as they looked horrible and didn't come close to resembling what I'd asked for. I ended up talking to the manager and she offered to file my nails shorter, but in fact, the other woman had put on white tips instead of clear and painting the white for the french manicure look on like I had requested. As I sat there soaking these off to get my nails redone, the woman told me I should've told her what I wanted! I responded by saying that I did, and I don't work in a nail salon and as a customer I should be informed if there are different ways to do a french manicure so I could clarify my preference. Did these people never hear of a client consultation?! They didn't even have any pictures available so I could show them what I meant. After explaining forever to the manger how I wanted my nails done (which was not difficult, just a french manicure! sheesh!) she redid my nails and they were okay. I wasn't even offered money off for the inconvenience or a gift certificate, not that I'd ever go back! If you want terrible customer service and like to throw your money away, this is the nail salon for you.
I was a nail tech before I became allergic to some of the acrylics, so Im extremely picky when it comes to my nails! Viva Nails does everything correctly and sanitarily. They shape the nails beautifully and they don't leave fill lines behind! I no longer work near the salon, but I still travel 30 min to Concord to get my nails done- this is the only place I will ever go to do have my nails done!
