- Pediatric CareDr. Brian Gendelman established Edgewood Center Pediatrics 20 years ago. Over the years many providers have joined Dr. Gendelman in serving our patients and community. Working together with 5 other physicians and physician assistants Dr. Gendelman takes pride in the high level of service Edgewood Center Pediatrics is able to provide.
- Primary CareAmanda Leach, CPNP-PC – is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner specializing in primary care. Amanda has many years of nursing experience at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan and graduated from Wayne State University with a Master of Science in nursing in August, 2015. She received her board certification in October, 2015.
- ImmunizationsEdgewood Center Pediatrics supports immunizing all well children for childhood diseases, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and Centers for Disease Control guidelines. Currently we cannot accept new patients transferring into our practice who are unimmunized or families of patients who are unwilling to begin the immunization process. We continue to work diligently with our families to complete the immunization schedule.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)Due to recent changes in guidelines patients that are prescribed controlled substances by our office are now required to have a medication re-check appointment at least every 3 months and an annual physical examination. In addition, all requests for controlled substance refills will now require a strictly enforced 48 hour notice.
- Sports MedicineEdgewood Center Pediatrics offers sports physicals to existing patients that have had a well visit in our office within the last year and require an exam for sports on or after April 15
