Placed service call on 9/11/14 for our walk-in freezer that was running warm. Tech (Kevin) came out and said it needed a pressure control and replaced it.

The problem is he replaced a pressure control on the wrong compressor unit and then told us we needed a new compressor that he would replace the following day.

They billed us $418.05 for installing a part we did not need on the wrong compressor unit and then argued with us that it was our fault the tech worked on the wrong unit. We have three refrigeration and one freezer compressor in the same room and the power disconnects are very clearly marked. There is a sizable difference in the freezer unit compared to the refrigeration.

The scam is that they told us we needed a new compressor installed. Not sure what unit they were trying to replace, but the freezer only needed freon.

We used another company and the bill was $150.00. They inspected all units and we did not need to replace any compressors.

We have been a customer of Mountain Sales and Service over 10 years and now I wonder how often we were scammed by them in the past.

Very, very frustrated in this company and the outright fraud.
