Went there for the first time in the early afternoon recently for catfish. The whole experience was amazing. The interior was very clean, comfortable, & spacious. There was only 1 other couple there besides us while we were there. The waitress was very kind and attentive but not overly. The best fried mushrooms, deep fried perfectly, had a nice texture and were seasoned very well, very hot. 2 catfish lunch specials with 2 unsweet ice teas with fried mushroom appetizer came to $26.95 plus taxes. Well worth it though! The meal included 4 catfish fillets each, lightly breaded and were not oily or too salty and a nice amount of fries.We both replaced the side beans for coleslaw that you could tell was homemade. Dill pickle slices, onion slices, lemon wedges. We tipped Sherry $5 we were so pleased with the whole experience. We will be going back many times. They have fish, steaks, chicken, shrimp, chicken fried steak, hamburgers, and a whole lot more on their menu. Prompt service.
