I went to Olentangy after my go-to guy in Upper Arlington changed owners and lost the man who really knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, the gentleman at Olentangy didn't take the time to understand what I wanted, even though I literally showed him the pair that was on my feet and said "do this." His finished product was a truly messed up pair of boots. I will need to modify them in some way to be able to wear them again. His initial attitude was so brusque I had some doubts immediately about his willingness to even do the job, but you've got to give people the benefit of the doubt - there's only so many shoe repair guys...This could possibly be two stars since I can't fault the workmanship; it seems to have been executed pretty well. I wouldn't be writing this if the repair wasn't an expensive one. You've got to do what people ask you to do, right?
