OHIONET, located in Columbus, Ohio, is a nonprofit library that offers a range of information sharing services. The library offers memberships of various denominations. It offers cataloging, resource sharing and preservation services. The library works with the Ohio Library Council, State Library of Ohio, OhioLINK, INFOhio, OPLIN and Kent State University's School of Library and Information Science. OHIONET has been operational since 1977 and offers a variety of educational resources and reference materials. It also provides consulting and training services on library issues and technology solutions. In addition, OHIONET is a member of the Online Computer Library Center, which is a global library cooperative headquartered in Dublin, Ohio.
