General Info
I am a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specializing in Neuroplastic Surgery. My work primarily focuses on complex scalp reconstruction, cranioplasty and patient-specific custom skull implants for adult patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures. My focus is not only to help patients heal, but to improve quality of life and restore patients to normalcy- whether it's patients who have a traumatic brain injury (TBI) or stroke and are missing a portion of their skull, or a brain cancer patient with complex scalp or skull conditions. Sometimes I may simply be working with my neurosurgical colleagues to repair the skin to improve wound healing or repair radiation-induced injury. At other times, I may be performing more complex procedures to replace the bone with a patient-specific customized alloplastic implant, or using the patient's own tissues to perform complex microvascular reconstructio t is an honor to have the unique privilege of working with a diverse and inspiring patient population. Their compassion, kindness and resilience drive me to advance the field of Neuroplastic Surgery and focus my determination on improving patient outcome believe that a patient's diagnosis or medical condition does not define who they are. Together, we are able to formulate a treatment strategy that strives to optimize outcomes and quality of lif n addition to canc
