Provided by YP.comThis company was selected by my home warranty company to look at my leaky shower valve. After about a week of pestering them to finally make an appointment, their "plumber" walked up to my shower, turned it on and off, then walked back to his truck and submitted a report to the home warranty company. His report concluded that we had performed "unauthorized work" on the shower, which conveniently happens to invalidate coverage under my home warranty. Before leaving he did take time to mention that if the home warranty failed to cover he'd be happy to come out and repair at my expense for about $500. After the home warranty company informed me that they would not be covering the repair or reimbursing the $100 I paid to Capital Plumbing, I tried repeatedly to get Capital to send me a copy of the report they had submitted to the home warranty company. They promised three times to send it. I never received a report, not even an invoice or receipt for the $100 they required over the phone before they came out. I eventually found another plumber to provide a second opinion. Not surprisingly, he said there was no possible way a plumber could determine "unauthorized work" by simply looking at the shower handle and turning it on and off one time. He also said my problem was a common occurrence that occurs over time due to normal wear and tear from use and chlorine in the water, which would clearly be covered by my home warranty. The only logical conclusion is that Capital Plumbing colludes with the home warranty company to tell them exactly what they need to hear to deny coverage. This company is corrupt. I used A. Mann Plumbing and they were quick, honest, and reasonable. The repair cost under $100

Provided by YPmobileI am a pervious employee at Capital Pluming and Mechanical and I would like to tell you about the company. To start out when I was hired I found it odd that I was not drug tested, shortly after starting I found it very evident why when I saw a bowl used to smoke an illegal substance in the back of a plumbers van. I continued to work for the company for a couple months trying to make the best of the situation. As a ethical person I quit working for capital because I was asked to sell a customer something they did not need. After putting in my notice I was asked to stay and offered a large pay increase to stay. The plumbers get paid by commission so they don't get paid unless they sell you something. I highly recommend you use a different company.

Provided by YP.comMy house exhaust fan was not working so I called Capital. The service men they sent were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, there was nothing wrong with the ceiling fan however upon talking to them I found out that they fix plumbing problems too. They also fixed a leak that I had in my plumbing and advised me of a future problem that I will have. I appreciate all the work they did to buy me time before I have to have the major plumbing issue fixed. I would recommend this company and I definitely plan to use them again.

Provided by YP.comA $30 service charge just to get an unreasonable, inaccurate estimate; rude and insulting employees; and terrible customer services means this company should be avoided. Find a local plumber who will be appreciative of the work and will care about the services provided, not one of these 'mega-plumbers' that only care about getting in and out in as little time, with as much money, as possible. DO NOT USE!

Provided by YP.comWhen I got home from work and went down to the basement to do some laundry, I found that my entire basement was flooded. In a panic I opened the yellow pages to find a plumbing contractor. I decided to call Capital Plumbing because their ad states that if they can not open our drain we will not have to pay. Since it was after hours, I wasn't sure if I would be able to get someone out, but Tricia answered the call and sent a plumber out within one hour. What a releif! The plumber that came out pumped the water out of my basement and cabled the main line. I found the plumber to be friendly & professional. I was extremely happy with how Capital Plumbing handled the problem so quickly.

Provided by YP.comI called capital plumbing on a saturday afternoon and in no time they were here to fix my gas leak. Gary and his helper (sorry, dont remember his name) showed up when they said they would and did the work quick, quiet and clean! I was shocked when Gary told me it would only cost $262.00 for a full line check and the repairs they had to do. That was after he showed me a coupon online that saved me an extra $35.00. In this day & age, how many contractors do you know that will do that for a customer? I STRONGLY recomend capital plumbing for all your plumbing needs! .
Thanks Capital!
