Mixed neighborhood (students, homeowners, downtown workers, older people). Relatively safe area. Problems: subdivided houses have no soundproofing or insulation (no privacy), no storm windows or screens. Old fixtures and appliances. Buildings not in great shape for age. Serious bedbug problem in some buildings. Manager has own home on street and is more concerned about appearances (property values) than building. Owner is retired teacher who has willed buildings to Columbus Foundation. Don't expect improvements. Pluses: blocks from campuses, downtown, and cheap.
