The community is non-profit and was built with the intension to provide decent and affordable housing for the elderly and mobility impaired living primarily on social security. It was purposely built in a location close to St. Lukes Hospital. Our apartments are designed for senior citizens 62 years of age or older or younger persons who are mobility impaired with low income. Income limit is $18,700 annually. Rent is based on income. HUD-Section 8 assistance is available. Rent is determined on an individual basis. Residents will pay approximately thirty percent (30%) of their adjusted gross income with an allowance for utilities. Our apartments provide privacy, comfort, energy conservation and easy upkeep. Each one bedroom apartment has a ground level entrance, emergency alarms, convenient parking, covered porch and a spacious design. Each unit features energy efficient heat pumps, thermo-pane windows, electric stove and refrigerator, smoke detectors, carpeting and tile.
