Swan Kennels...it's not just for dogs! We moved to Columbus from Atlanta just a little over 2 years ago. I was so worried about when we would finally have to board our 4 very social, well adjusted, adult cats. I figured I wouldn't be able to find a place that was near as nice as where we had boarded in Atlanta. I was wrong! I lucked up and found Swan Kennels. Just a year ago, we boarded with them for the first time and it was a such a fabulous experience for us and our cats, we will be using them every time we need to board our fur babies. They are just as great with cats as they are with dogs. Pam and the staff are professional and friendly and the kennels and cat room are neat and clean. We know when we leave our cats there, they will get top-notch care and that's a great feeling. The Golden Triangle area is so fortunate to have this facility. Thank you Swan Kennels!!!

After a horrific experience at another local pet boarding center (the horrible Pet Nanny - DO NOT use - our 75 lb lab came back bullied, muddy, and full of puncture wounds), we were hesitant to try anyone else. I asked around the base and received multiple recommendations for Swan Kennels. I called and Pam invited my wife and I over for a tour. We were very impressed to say the least. We took our dog there no less than 10-15 times within two years and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. From Pam and the rest of the workers taking meticulous care of our dog to Reggie greeting both our dog and us by name each time, we were very impressed and felt like we were dropping him off with family. He always came back happy, healthy, and with no issues. Even turning down the drive to their wonderful facility would get our dog's tail wagging nonstop; he was always happy to be dropped off for a visit with his friends. We never took it for granted when we dropped him off, knowing he would be looked after and cared for as the family member he is. Any issues they had with him were immediately relayed to us and resolved with no complaint whatsoever. Being military, we needed someone we could trust immediately upon moving there, and Reggie, Pam, and all the rest took pride and comfort in establishing, maintaining, and fostering that trust. They have very accommodating hours that we could always rely and depend on. Do not look elsewhere, there is no need. Swan Kennels will always be the kennel we will judge others against. To only give Swan Kennels 5 stars seems like a travesty; they deserve 10!

Scary place. I used this kennel several times but had never "crossed" the owner. The kennel closes at 6:00. I had called prior to let them know that I would be there but it would be just a few minutes prior to 6:00. I drove up at 6:00 and the owners were in their backyard (I assume having just walked the 15 or 20 yards from the kennel doors). There is a large gate for cars to pass through at the kennel's entrance. I knew they were expecting me, I walked by the gate, and wrongfully assumed that they would be accommodating. As I saw them, I called over "I'm sorry, I know it's 6:00. Can I please pick up my dog? I will be glad to pay for another day." She says, "Sorry, we are closed." I explained that I called and again offered to pay for another day because it's 6:00 on the nose. This lady (I assume the owner's wife) storms into the house and I hear her yell, "I DON'T KNOW WHY....."
