Garcia's food is amazing! They take real pride in the food they make. It's really family based and a great hometown restaurant.

From a long-time, diehard lover of Garcia's:Garcia's is a "mom and pop" restaurant that has been in business since the 1970's. They serve homemade tex-mex that is always finely prepared. For those of you who don't like onions or garlic, you'll like the fact that they don't use either yet the food is flavorful and melts in your mouth! The owners are the chefs which probably adds to the quality of the food. Beef is shredded roast rather than ground. I doubt that much of anything comes from a can.Prices are very reasonable. Lunch is cafeteria style. Dinner menu is ordered from the table.They close about mid-December and usually re-open in April. This is excruciating for die-hard Garcia's fans and the line is usually long the first week of business. Don't miss it. It's an under-advertised attraction in Columbus. Open Tues. - Friday for lunch and dinner; Saturday dinner only. Closed Sunday and Monday.

The waitress are very friendly and helpful. The people in the back work very hard to get the orders out in a timely manner, correctly prepared. They have wonderful food. We go there all the time, once you go, you will go back.
