In addition, we consult with your primary physician to ensure coordinated, seamless care.With a thorough medical evaluation and the information provided by your primary care physician, we’ll explore the nature of your wound and its underlying causes. We’ll then design a customized program for you.TreatmentDuring the course of your treatment, your progress will be monitored carefully and managed expertly by a highly specialized team of caregivers, led by our medical directors. Best of all, you can look forward to a comforting, nurturing approach to healing, including the convenience of outpatient treatment.Under our care, your difficult wounds receive expert care, so you can enjoy the greatest possibility of success.The Columbus Regional Wound Center is certified by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS). The Columbus Regional Wound Center is located on The Medical Center campus and offers advanced wound care therapies, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (used in the treatment of oxygen-related diving injuries) to promote healing of difficult wounds and injuries in a relaxed, comfortable setting.
