I found this shop in October 2012 when I was having a girl's weekend in Columbia. The store has some nice things and I was very excited about ordering a new couch since mine was ruined in a recent move to another state. The couch I ordered was supposed to take 6-8 weeks which was ideally too long (it's very difficult to go 8 weeks without a couch), but the sales rep promised me I would have the couch at a max of 8 weeks. When I put in my order, my estimated pick up date was December 17th, 2012. Well, December 17th came and no one called. I called the company and they informed me that the manufacturer was backed up and the couch wouldn't be available for pick up until early January. Early January came with no call from Strobler. I called again and they informed me that the couch was still not ready and they weren't sure when it would be ready....they hoped to have it the following weekend. The next weekend came with no call AGAIN and when I called they informed me that my couch had been left off the truck unintentionally and thus did not arrive with the other shipment. At this point, it had been over 12 weeks since I put in the order for my couch. I spoke with the manager asking if I could cancel my order and, of course, they said no. I asked if they could give me a discount for the hassle and she said she didn't have the authority to do that and that I would need to speak with the owner. So, I asked for the owner to call me and she said she would have him call me the next day. The next day, she calls back saying she asked the owner and the owner said he could not give me a discount. It didn't so much bother me that the owner said no to the discount as much as the fact that they didn't even have the decency to call me and speak with an unhappy customer. The couch finally came 13 weeks after I ordered it.
