Sandhills School is an independent educational institution that offers academic enrichment opportunities to students. It has been providing services since 1975 and enrolls children in grades one through nine. The institution serves students who have been diagnosed with language-based learning differences, including dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia. Sandhills School helps children in overcoming difficulties related reading, writing and math. It conducts classes in language arts, science and social studies. The institution also offers instruction in physical education, computer applications, and arts and crafts. Sandhills School organizes field trips and conducts drama sessions. It employs a staff of more than 15 teachers, as well as an after care director, business manager and paraprofessionals. The institution is located in Columbia, S.C.
