The Clerk of Court's Office operates a circuit court that responds to civil and criminal cases. It also maintains a family court that handles a variety of juvenile and domestic cases. The office provides a range of public services and is held for more than 40 weeks annually. The Clerk of Court's Office undertakes over 5,000 civil cases, nearly 10,000 criminal warrants and approximately 5,000 domestic and juvenile cases annually. It is located in Columbia, S.C.
