- X-raysCone Beam Technology (or CBCT) creates a 3D image that allows the doctor to diagnose and develop a treatment plan for things that may have gone undetected with traditional dental x-rays. We have the capability to more thoroughly plan for implants, orthodontics, orthographic TMJ as well as scan for abnormalities and diagnose infection. The Planmeca Promax® 3D unit offers a unique Planmeca ultra low dose™ imaging protocol, enabling CBCT imaging with an even lower effective patient dose than standard 2D panoramic imaging. This pioneering imaging protocol is based on intelligent 3D algorithms developed by Planmeca and offers a vast amount of detailed anatomical information at a very low patient dose.

- FillingsA "silver" filling's main ingredient is mercury. Dental amalgams are comprised of mercury (50 -54%), silver (~22-32% ), tin (~14%),copper (~8%), and other trace metals. Each time you chew on a mercury amalgam filling, a quantifiable amount of mercury is released into your bloodstream. If you grind your teeth, or drink a lot of hot beverages, the numbers are even higher. Heavy metals affect each individual differently, and when removing mercury amalgam fillings, there is a large amount of vapor that is released. This vapor is more dangerous than playing with mercury like you may have as a kid, or even eating pieces of hardened mercury filling. When removing a mercury amalgam filling, small particles of mercury are created that are the size of microns.
- Resin CompositeDental composite or "bonding" is refers to tooth colored filling material that can be used to fill cavities, replace silver (amalgam) fillings, fill in gaps, or change the shape or shade of your teeth.A composite resin is used on the affected tooth or teeth. It is molded and sculpted over an adhesive gel that is placed on the tooth. After the resin has been applied an, LED light is used to harden the resin, which is then polished to give you a fresh, new smile.

- DenturesDental implants act like the roots of teeth and are placed under the gums. Sometimes, a tooth can be placed on the implant right away, and sometimes we wait until the bone grows all the way into the implant. Once stable, the implant can hold a single tooth, multiple teeth, or even dentures.
- Dental ImplantsDental implants are the ideal, most conservative, replacement for missing or nonrestorable teeth. Implants look, feel, and act like natural teeth, and even better - they don't get cavities!
- Oral SurgeryThere I was trained in IV and oral sedation dentistry, implant dentistry, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, general restorative dentistry and treating the medically compromised patient.
- OrthodonticsDifferent methods of treatment include adjusting your bite to make your teeth hit evenly adding to, placing, or replacing dental restorations using an acrylic splint appliance that covers some or all of your teeth orthodonticsadjusting your bite to make your teeth hit evenly adding to, placing, or replacing dental restorations using an acrylic splint appliance that covers some or all of your teeth orthodontics
- Teeth WhiteningThe health of your gingival (gum) tissue gives us insight into the health of the rest of your body. Not only do we care about the bacteria from your gum tissue entering and affecting your whole body, but we also want your teeth, and your dental restorations, to last as long as possible. People actually lose more teeth to periodontal disease (gum disease), than cavities. Many people also think that brushing harder is better, and don't understand the harsh effects that whitening toothpaste can have, especially with a medium-bristled toothbrush. As a new patient, we will evaluate the health of your mouth by doing a full-mouth exam including periodontal probing and palpating (feeling) your masticatory (biting, clenching) muscles, and determine a tailor-fit plan.Â
