Provided by YP.comAbout a year or so ago, we switched to River Valley because they are a small, local business and they had cheaper rates than what we were paying with Republic. After service started, we realized the trucks were using our driveway as a turnaround. Our driveway is unpaved and they were leaving big ruts. When we complained and asked that they not turn around in our driveway, they decided to terminate service. We tried multiple times to talk to the driver/owner to go over other options (we don't live on a dead end road...). I can't believe they were willing to lose a customer just because we wouldn't allow them to use our driveway. This was not an outrageous request. Oh well, their loss.

Provided by YP.comWe have been using River Valley for 6 years since moving to the area. They are competitively priced to other garbage removal companies. However, they earn 5 stars because their customer service is fantastic. On the phone they are pleasant. Their truck drivers and "garbagemen" are so nice and they always put our can upright, lid on, in the same place they found it. Not just ours, but every other can in our neighborhood. I see other companies throw cans into yards and streets. Lids fly everywhere. Even if they were more expensive, I would still use their services.
