Household Hazardous Waste Collection is one of the facilities operated by Solid Waste Utility Division. It provides recycling services of plastic containers, food and beverage cans, newspapers, magazines and paper bags. The department offers trash removal services of recycling bags. Solid Waste Utility Division also provides cleaning up littering and recycling services. It offers commercial trash collection from manufacturers. The division is a part of the City of Columbia, which provides stormwater outreach and education, neighborhood traffic and public works volunteer programs. The city operates administration, airport, maintenance, engineering, fleet operations, parking, sanitary and solid waste utility divisions. Solid Waste Utility Division is located in Columbia, Mo.
