I bought a house in June of 08 that had a ground source heat pump system. I first called Conaster Heating and Cooling and was promised they would get things running for me but for 4 months all I got was excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't get back to my house. They had "emergencies" and "phone calls" to deal with they said. After numerous canceled appointments to meet with me I called Boone Electric and was referred to BW Heating, Cooling & Mechanical. They came out, installed a new thermostat on a heat pump that didn't work, charged me $200 then never came back. Our phone call conversations were brief in the beginning as I tried to get them to come back and fix the pumps, as I had no heat, but then one after another, they no longer returned my calls. By December I was having to use space heaters just to keep my house from freezing, it was very stressful.
