Hate their service. Cable went off Sat. At 7pm. It is Monday at 11am and is still off six calls were made to the call center. We were first given an appointment for next WEDNESDAY then later told there was a large outage in our area. My husband finally went into their office today because they have no local number. They said they might send someone out this afternoon IF there are no outages?? I guess what we were told was not true. We are dropping them. We have been unhappy with their service a long time. Read their other reviews and see that others feel the same. I didn't know how to give them a half a stat.

Awesome deals on cable and internet.. amazing customer service when you call the 888 numbers but employees in store are snobby and rude. I will call to set up an appointment to have someone some to my house or pay my buill online. I will never go to media com office to pay bill or handle problems again.

Media com is the worst cable/internet service i have ever signed up for. The technicians are useless. We can't watch a video online with out it buffering every 5 seconds. We started off paying $70.00 and because we didn't change whose name the account was under we ended up paying $150. Media com is a scam!!

We started off with their bundled package with all 3 services for under $100 month. Now less than 2 years later we are paying $200 a month for the same services. Each month our bill has gotten more expensive and their "customer service" department cannot explain why. However, they would be happy to change my services around for the cost of $1. This company nickels and dimes their customers and then brags about how they are dedicated to customer service on their website. I would love to leave, but they have closed their local office and I cannot seem to find where the new office is located. I have threatened to leave their equipment on the front porch for them to pick up, but that just gives them the opportunity to charge me for the equipment (a whole lot more than it would cost to buy the same equipment brand new). I agree with the previous reviewer. There are other options out there and I would highly recommend staying away from Mediacom. This is by far the worst company ever

horrible, horrible, horribleconfusing billing (always swinging towards you owing mediacom more money)rude phone operatorsthey would never change information, they gave conflicting adviceif you have any any any other option stay as far away from mediacom as you can. they have screwed me over two times and have a reputation for it.
