A very sad place. Muted colors, dim lighting, indirect sunlight all contribute to a muted existence. I have seen bruising from mishandling on my relative. This is not a place I would want to see another loved family member languish in. Clever copywriting and smiling staff cannot hide the primary mission of this establishment: to relieve the resident of their money.

My mother was a resident at Somerford Place of Columbia and we could not have asked for a better facility! They are the dementia experts and the whole building is set up to accommodate all levels of dementia patients. I would recommend them to anyone looking for dementia placement!!

This is a great place for your loved one with Alzheimer's and related dementias. They also have a great support group and are a wealth of knowledge on the disease.
