Founded in 1951, Parkview Whitley Hospital is a 37-plus-bed facility. It is a nonprofit organization that offers surgery, emergency and rehabilitative services. The hospital provides occupational health care services for businesses and industries. Parkview Whitley Hospital operates a 48-plus-unit senior living and 81-plus-bed long-term facility. It participates in several health fairs and activities to provide health educational and screening services for disease prevention and to promote healthy lifestyles. The hospital also provides support groups to assist patients and families in managing diseases. Parkview Whitley Hospital offers the Medication Assistance Program in partnership with patients, physicians, pharmaceutical companies and pharmacies to provide medication assistance.
