Indian Springs Middle School is a public school offering educational instruction to students in grades six through eight. The school has an enrollment of more than 800 students and is a part of the Whitley County Consolidated School District. It offers classes in language arts, math, science, social studies, reading and writing. It has athletic teams in cross country, football, volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, swimming and diving, wrestling, golf, soccer and track and field. The school offers students an opportunity to participate in several academic teams and clubs, such as academic superbowl, chess club, geography bee, science fair, science Olympiad, speech, spelling bee, spell bowl, student council, yearbook and young astronauts club.
