- Oral Cancer ScreeningA: Each patient and procedure is unique and must be evaluated individually. The medical history is comprehensively reviewed to determine anesthesia and surgical risks, such as drug allergies, current medications, illnesses etc. The clinical examination includes a cancer screening and analysis of X-rays as well as a focused examination of the condition being addressed.

- Fillings
- VeneersOur office is pleased to offer same-day crowns, fillings, and veneers to qualifying patients. At the forefront of dental technology, we recently incorporated Planmeca FIT into the treatment options available to patients. As a result, we can take a digital scan of your tooth and design and create a custom, permanent restoration in the dental office, all in a single appointment.
- CrownsThe scanned information is then transferred to the design center where a 3D model of the tooth is created chairside. We can then design and customize the restoration to fit your unique characteristics, after which it is created in a milling unit right in our dental office. The final result is a natural-looking restoration that beautifully fits the surrounding teeth, making the crown, veneer, or filling virtually undetectable.

- Root Canal Treatment"I recently had a root from a root canal removed and was extremely nervous about it. Dr. Kofford made me feel at ease and played music I enjoy. I was impressed at the follow-up call I received from Dr.Kofford later that same day. Thank you for your professional care." - Delrose
- ApicoectomyWe want you to feel at ease after your surgical dental procedures, whether you are undergoing soft tissue grafting, apicoectomy, dental implants, extractions, or any other surgical dental treatment. That’s why we utilize PRF and PRP to speed up your wound healing process.
- DenturesMaintain optimal oral function and aesthetics with All-on-4 same-day teeth replacement. Using state-of-the-art technology, All-on-4 treatment replaces traditional dentures, which can be uncomfortable, inconvenient, and poorly fitted. All-on-4 turns problematic chewing and speaking into relics of the past.
- Dental ImplantsBecause All-on-4 allows full-arch restoration with only four implants, your treatment and recovery time are greatly reduced.
- Oral SurgeryYour smile is yours forever, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to receive the best oral surgery care whenever you need it.
- Jaw SurgeryJaw surgery —for some patients with small jaws and severe sleep apnea, surgery can be performed to move the upper and lower jaws forward to create a larger airway.
- Maxillofacial SurgeryNarcotic usage especially in the teenage population is something that we take very seriously at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialists. We have developed a system that decreases pain post operatively, allowing most patients to simply use Tylenol and Ibuprofen during their recovery period. Ask us how at your next appointment!
- Tooth ExtractionsA: ‘Dry socket’ is a tooth extraction socket that hurts longer and more severely than should be expected. The cause of dry sockets is multi-factorial. Certain conditions increase the risk of development of a dry socket. These are listed below.
- Bone GraftingToday with the assistance of advanced imaging such as CBCT along with refined techniques, we can now provide patients the opportunity to go from a terminal dentition or no teeth at all to non-removable, permanent teeth in a matter of a few days, while minimizing the need for extensive bone grafting. This treatment is complex and requires close collaboration between the surgeon and your restorative dentist or prosthodontist. Some individuals advertise one-stop treatment where one individual provides both surgical and restorative care. Scientific research has shown that the highest success rate is provided by the care being provided through a collaborative model where a trained and certified surgeon provides the surgical care in cooperation with the expertise of a restorative dentist.
- OrthodonticsThis imbalance can result from facial growth abnormalities, trauma or congenital disorders such as cleft lip and palate. This imbalance results in difficulty in eating, premature tooth wear, and loss, temporomandibular joint or facial muscle dysfunction, and pain along with abnormal facial appearance. Jaw surgery usually starts with pre-surgical orthodontics to correctly align the teeth so the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon is able to move the facial bones to their ideal position. There is usually a short course of post-operative orthodontics to fine-tune the occlusion (bite).
