Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association was founded in 1936 and is located in Colorado Springs, Colo. Its staff consists more than 60 and also operates the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy. It is a member of the American Junior Rodeo Association, the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo, the National Finals Rodeo, the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and the National High School Rodeo Association. The association is a professional rodeo and sanctions more than 650 rodeos annually in over 40 states. The personnel working a rodeo, including bullfighters who help bull riders to escape the powerful rodeo bull to entertain the crowds. The association has more than 6,000 cowboys.
