Let start by saying Ive had close to 15 different dentists throughout my lifetime (40+ years) and nothing but VERY BAD experiences and luck with 98% of them. Being a 70s-child, my teeth were destroyed by the antibiotics of the 70s and 80s. Subsequently, I have had to have MANY fillings, etc.Dr. Roth is one of only two GOOD dentists I know.This morning, I had a cuspid root canal performed by Dr. Roth. The experience was excellent and truly pain free. He is far more procedurally thorough than any dentist I have known; no shortcuts taken! Dr. Roth had to correct the mistakes of two prior dentists. He discovered a minor, but nonetheless important, lingering infection above my upper right cuspid that had been there for 9-years! The infection was caused by the two previous dentists who performed the 1st and 2nd root canal on this tooth. Dr. Roth explained the X-rays, his findings, his reasoning for the treatment plan he selected, and the procedures. He spoke with me throughout the procedure and gave me status updates as he worked. He was also very honest and open about unavoidable (if you know anything about anatomy and medicine) post-op pain that may occur because of the treatment procedures. His assistant ensured I knew how to care for myself and that I had their emergency number before I left their office. He hid nothing for the sake of any ego. I like his style and highly recommend him.Another thing I like about Dr. Roth is the way he treats his staff. Being a retired police officer and Army Officer, I have a high personal expectation of professional leadership behavior. Dr. Roth has been very consistent in his personality and demeanor. During my procedure, the conditions he encountered inside my tooth (shape, dimensions, hard/softness of materials, mistakes of other dentists, etc.) were different from normal and his assistant had to change her tool sets a couple of times to provide what he needed. Dr. Roth did not become frustrated with the conditions or his assistant. He was professional, adaptive, mentor-like, and polite with her. I have been in a couple of other dentist offices where I have seen and heard the Doc treat their staff poorly.
I would definitely recommend Dr Roth and his staff at Front Range Endodontics to anyone in need of a root canal treatment! Going in to the office, I was in pain and, to be quite honest, was nervous and terrified over having to have root canal treatment. But my fears were put to ease after speaking with Dr Roth and his assistants! They were so wonderful and kind, and they helped me to become more informed about what was going to happen during root canal treatment, which put my mind at ease! When I returned to the office for my root canal treatment I received a warm and pleasant welcome, they showed compassion and concern for how I was feeling, and they went out of their way to make sure I was calm and comfortable....the assistant even set me up with a pillow and blanket so I was comfortable the entire time =) During my appointment, Dr Roth would even stop and ask me if I was doing ok and if I was comfortable, letting me know that if I started feeling any pain while they were working on my tooth he would resolve it right away by getting me more numb. Overall, I was just beyond pleased with Dr Roth and his staff, not only for their experience, but also for their compassion =) Now, my tooth is doing great, haven't had a problem with it since! Though I honestly hope I don't have to have root canal treatment again, if I found out I did need it again, I wouldn't go anywhere besides Front Range Endodontics!
