I can't say enough about Cindy and her counseling techniques. I married a widower with 5 children, 3 at home. His family is riddled with mental illness. The girls were 10, 7, & 5 when they lost their mom to breast cancer and I came in about 2 years later. Cindy counseled each of individually as well as in a family unit as well as marriage counseling. The techniques she taught us are still applied in our family to this day. I loved it that she never took the credit for herself, but opened and end each session with prayer and gave all credit for healing to Jesus. Cindy is a loving and caring person who is able to relate to all ages, from my husbands 80+ mother to our 12 year old. She never left you hanging to fix something till the next appointment. Our girls still talk about her and some of the projects she had them do - especially the mom boxes and the exercise of "non-perfection". She is forever embedded in our hearts and I thank Jesus that He brought us to her.
