General Info

Dr. Samarin grew up in a small town just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He feels his most important jobs are being a husband and parenting his two children (soon to be three with an adoption under way). In addition to that, he absolutely loves being a dermatologist. He earned his medical degree at MCP/Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. From there, he served as a flight surgeon for the United States Air Force. Subsequently, he completed a dermatology residency at Yale University. Dr. Samarin moved to Colorado Springs to serve as the dermatologist at the United States Air Force Academy. That is when he and his family fell in love with Colorado Springs and decided to make this wonderful community their home. When not at work, he enjoys getting injured while trying to play basketball, losing to his kids at board games, and trying to find more time to spend outdoors hiking with his two dogs. If you have any advice on the aforementioned hobbies, please feel free to advise him during your appointment.
