Established in 1874, Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind is a state-funded school within the Colorado Department of Education. It provides educational services for visually impaired children and children with hearing disabilities. The school for the deaf provides academic programs for students with hearing disabilities in grades kindergarten through 12.
