I was there yesterday. I really like the location and the restaurant itself and it does appear that the owners take pride in their restaurant because you often see them milling about and talking with the customers. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I think the addition of the Tiki Bar and music will be a definite plus. My complaint is the quality of food. You do not get what you pay for. I had a hamburger which I always think is a safe choice but it wasn't. The hamburger was poor quality beef as far as I'm concerned; it was rather soft and mushy - the bun was dry and falling apart which means stale to me. The fries are good when they are hot. I had a burger about a year ago and it was very good. What happened?

We eat here fairly regularly and always get great food and great service! The owners are very involved in the customer service aspect of the business and we feel like we are treated as part of the family. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Hello - We were there today - August 3, 2006 - with a Senior Group from Hughesville Baptist Church. Our waitress, Kim, was very attentive, the service was great, food very, very good. We really did enjoy our 2 hours there watching the seagulls flying around and the river rolling. We will most surety be back again. A very beautiful restaurant.
