- Heart Disease TreatmentFour Paws Animal Hospital provides veterinary surgical care and services for cats and dogs. We utilize the safest anesthesia options available and provide the same level of patient monitoring that you would receive if you were having surgery. We monitor all of your pet’s vital signs with state of the art equipment as well as manual techniques. We recommend pre-surgical blood work so we can evaluate your pet’s kidney, liver and heart function prior to undergoing anesthesia. Pets are monitored during surgery (pulse ox, respiratory monitoring, EKG, temperature monitoring, ventilator, oxygen).
- Kidney Disease TreatmentThe goal of blood transfusion is to treat symptoms caused by anemia by replacing red blood cells so that proper oxygenation of organs can occur. Blood transfusions are most often used in acute situations such as acute hemolysis (breakdown of red blood cells) or blood loss, but can also be used for chronic conditions such as immune-mediated hemolytic anemia or chronic kidney disease.
- Cancer TreatmentIf your pet has been diagnosed with cancer, chemotherapy may be an option for them. At Four Paws Animal Hospital, our veterinary oncologist can discuss treatment options including chemotherapy. Chemotherapy can slow the spread of cancer, shrink tumors prior to surgery, and buy precious time with terminally ill pets.

- Spaying and NeuteringSpaying and neutering help pets live long, healthy lives. Having pets sterilized while they’re young reduces their likelihood of developing certain infections and cancers. Plus, it combats overpopulation which, sadly, leads to the euthanasia of pets who cannot be placed in good homes.
- Laboratory ServicesAt Four Paws Animal Hospital, our goal is keeping your pet happy and healthy. Thanks to modern diagnostics and our on-site laboratory, we're able to do just that for sick and injured pets.
