The staff is friendly and kind. Dr. McCarren has an excellent patient "bedside" manner. He is thorough and current in his treatment. He also encourages patient interaction. The doctor keeps his practice fresh by staying current on recent medical trends and practices (at least as far as this lay-person can tell). Every visit he pulls something new based on the interaction I have with him. He starts the conversation with some leading questions that are thought provoking, enticing you to give him the information he needs to work with you.When I came to Dr McCarren, I had already been diagnosed with my disease, however he has always looked at where I am medically and compared it to the new treatments that may be available. Without pushing me to an uncomfortable limit, he has enticed me to try newer therapies that may enhance the treatment of my disease. I couldn't ask for a better Neurologist.
