• Why is the product so brown?
  Fake Bake contains two main ingredients. The first one is the unique tanning agent and the second is a color guide to aid application which gives an "instant" tan. When you wash the color guide off only your Fake Bake sunless tan will remain

• Will it stain my clothing?
  No! Since the organic pigment is not a stain or dye it will wash out of any synthetic material

• How Long Does it last?
  This is one of our favorite questions. We boast that our product need only be applied on average once a week, but remember, you are in control and you can deepen your tan simply by applying more product at home, or scheduling a same-day follow-up

• Does it wash off?
  No! Once developed on the skin it will simply fade just like a natural tan

• Can I use it in the sun or with sunbeds?
  When used in the sun or with sunbeds, Fake Bake actually accelerates the tanning process by stimulating the melanin in the skin

• Does the product contain any SPF or sunscreen?
  We do not add any SPF or sunscreens to our products as clients need different degrees of protection

• Can I go swimming with my Fake Bake tan?
  Yes! Don't worry it will not come off in the pool but remember to swim only after you have rinsed off the color guide

• Are there any harmful effect from using this product?
  Fake Bake have created an organically based self-tanning product which contains no harmful ingredients. If in the unlikely event you develop an allergic reaction to our product, discontinue use with immediate effect and seek your doctor's advice. A common sense approach advises not to apply onto broken or irritated skin. If in doubt – do a patch test a leave for 24/48 hours

• How Does it Work?
  Fake Bake Airbrush tanning products contain naturally-derived, premium tanning agents DHA, Erythrulose, and DMI. DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) interacts with the amino acid (Keratin) on the top layer of skin. This Reaction leads to the formulation of brownish colored polymers called Melanoids. Fake Bake spray tans also contain a cosmetic guide color. This assists application, and gives your skin an instant sunkissed look.   Your eyelash extension application will be comfortable and pain-free. Please take the following into consideration for the ultimate relaxing experience

• Please arrive to your eyelash extension appointment early to fill out the paper work.
  Late arrivals over 15 minutes may need to be rescheduled. We ask that you kindly give us a 24-hour cancellation notice or you will need to pre-pay any future services (Pre-paid services are non-refundable). Due to an increase in no-shows, we require a deposit for all full sets. Deposit will be credited towards your purchase and forfeited if you fail to cancel appointment within 24 hours

• Eyelash Extension Application Time
  Application time can vary depending on the "look" you are trying to achieve. Please block 2 1/2 hours from your schedule for your initial application. On average a full set can take up to 2 hours or less

• Please limit caffeine intake prior to your appointment
  We encourage our clients to limit caffeine intake prior to application for a well deserved beauty rest

• No eye makeup should be worn during eyelash extension application
  Please arrive without eye makeup including concealer and foundation. Waterproof mascara should be thoroughly removed 24 hours prior to application. There will be a $15 service fee for us to remove your makeup before your eyelash extension appointment

• Contact lenses may not be worn during eyelash extension application
  Please wear glasses to your appointment or bring your case and solution to remove contact lenses prior to application. Contact lenses may be re-applied after procedure

• Child Safety Policy
  Children are only permitted in the salon or spa area when they are receiving a service. Preparation for Your Body Wrap

• What is threading?
  Threading removes hair swiftly yet meticulously from the most delicate areas of the face by knotting thread to grab and pull hair out by the root. Unlike waxing, threading can isolate and extract individual hairs

• What does threading feel like?
  Threading feels similar to tweezing or waxing. You may feel a pinching or light scraping sensation. Most customers agree that it's no more uncomfortable than other hair removal methods and leaves your face looking and feeling clean

• How long does threading take?
  A simple eyebrow threading can take just 5-10 minutes. The upper lip takes about 5 minutes, and a full face thread takes about 20-30 minutes

• What areas of the body can be threaded?
  All areas of the face—eyebrows, lip, chin, sideburns—can be threaded, as well as the fingers or hands and toes or feet

• What are the benefits of threading vs. waxing?
  Threading can target individual hairs, even fine hair, for a precise, sharp look. Threading can be done as soon hair grows just above the skin, whereas waxing requires the hair be at least 1/4" long before it can be removed again. • How long does threading last?
  Depending on your hair type and area of the face, full regrowth can be anywhere from two to eight weeks

• If I get my full face threaded, will the hair grow back thicker?
  No. After repeated threading, the hair tends to weaken and grow back finer

• Why does the esthetician put part of the thread in her mouth?
  The thread must be pulled taut in order to accurately and precisely remove each hair. However, the thread that touches the esthetician's mouth never touches your face. Each piece of thread comes from a clean spool and estheticians use several fresh pieces during the session

• Is it okay to get threaded if you have sensitive skin?
  Yes. However, depending on your sensitivity level, you may experience redness or minor bumps at the site, but it should subside in 10-15 minutes. In rare cases, the area may remain red for an hour or two. We recommend not using the lotion or aloe gel that your esthetician usually applies after treatment. Refrain from using face products for a few hours after threading until the area feels less sensitive

• Can I specify how I want my brows shaped?
  Yes! Before you begin, let your esthetician know how you want your brows shaped and how thick or thin you'd like them. Before leaving the chair, take your time to check your brows to be sure you are happy with the results. Your esthetician will be happy to make any adjustments you'd like

• My brows don't have a natural arch, is it possible to get them shaped that way?
  Absolutely, but be aware that to create an arched look, we need to remove more hair, which creates a thinner brow. If you want a thicker brow shaped to your natural contours, we don't recommend the arched look

• I over tweezed. How long should I wait before my next threading appointment?
  Although hair can be threaded as soon as it grows just above the surface of the skin, we recommend waiting for about two weeks if you want a new or different shape to your brows. In the meantime, do not tweeze your brows, even for a touch up

• Is it safe to get threaded after cosmetic surgery?
  Check with your doctor about the specific healing time for your procedure and inquire how long you should wait to resume threading
