- Corporate LawSherie Dickson has been a legal assistant since 1986 dealing primarily with real estate, banking and corporate law. She began her career with C. H. Donegan, Jr., P.C. in Seguin, Texas while attending Texas Lutheran University. She transferred to Texas A&M University in January 1989 and worked for Thornton, Payne, Watson & Miller, P.C. from June 1990 to June 1998, at which time she worked for William S. Thornton, Sr. out of her home while caring for her two young daughters. In 2005, she began working for Syptak, Murphy & Brown, LLP and has worked with Gerry M. Brown since that time. She joined The Ellison Firm in April 2014 and continues to be the legal assistant for Gerry M. Brown.
- Business FormationGerry was born in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Coronado High School in El Paso, Texas, in 1992. Gerry attended Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets. Upon graduation from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1996, he attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and was awarded his law degree in 1999. After completing his military obligation, Gerry returned to Bryan/College Station in 2001. Gerry was a partner with the law firm of Hayes, Murphy & Brown, LLP from 2005 to 2014 where his practice focused on real estate, estate planning, business formation, and banking law. Gerry joined The Ellison Firm in April 2014. Gerry is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
