Provided by YPmobileFamous stomping ground for many people. Supposedly have great food and drinks, but it's always been too crowded and loud for me!

It's an aggie favorite and can't be beat for a nice cold beer between classes or if your wanting to hang out with friends there is pool or dominos to play if you want to pregame for a night on Northgate.
The ultimate Aggie bar -- cheap beer, burgers, packed with students. This is the place for a true Aggieland experience.
If you want to go see some of the tradition at A&M go check out the dixie chicken. The food is basic fried entrees that are served in baskets. The Dixie Chicken is very little and it gets very crowded, so if you want a seat or want to be away from the crowd than you need to get there early. The Dixie Chicken is place that is full of fun.
The Dixie Chicken is a tradition in College Station -- a place where nearly every Aggie alumni has trod. The bar is a prime watering hole for thirsty Aggies, and it is the traditional place to "christen" one's Aggie Ring (Aggies celebrate getting their class ring by dropping it in a pitcher of beer at the Dixie and then drinking their way down to it). Not particularly known for their food -- the Dixie primarily serves bar food. But, it's such a tradition and fun to go to that I still rate it high. Only 2-percenters would rate it lower!
