Lorin Catalena, PA-C, a certified Physician Assistant, joined the Texas ENT & Allergy team in July 2005. Prior to joining Texas ENT & Allergy, Mrs. Catalena worked for 4 years at University Pediatric Association and spent six months working with Dr. de Jong and Kuppersmith in Bryan-College Station. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A & M University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Studies. While attending Texas A & M University she received numerous awards including the Gathright Scholar Award for academic excellence. Mrs. Catalena received her Master of Science at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed several rotations in Houston including General Surgery, Psychiatry and Internal Medicine at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Hospital, Geriatrics at Quentin Mease Community Hospital, Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at Ben Taub Hospital, and Neonatal Intestinal Perforations research at Texas Children’s Hospital. Other rotations include General Pediatrics at University Pediatric Association, Community Medicine at Burleson St. Joseph Family Medicine Clinic and OB/GYN at Brazos Valley Women’s Center. She is a member of the Texas Association of Physicians Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
