Dr. Gunita Singh believes in taking a whole person approach to dental care. She believes in making sure she improves the quality of life for her patients, whether its relieving their pain, restoring their smile, or keeping their teeth healthy. Getting to know her patients on a personal level is important to Dr. Singh in order to understand their needs and encourage open communication. She is very excited about working with the patients and keeping the fun and patient centered environment so she can continue delivering the highest level of care.Dr. Singh received her Bachelor of Science degree at McGill University in 2005 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland in 2009. She then went on to do her one-year (hospital based) General Practice Residency in 2010 at the Lehigh Valley Health Network. That program offered the chance to learn a wide range of procedures from endodontics (root canals), extractions, cosmetics and prosthetic dentistry. Dr. Singh strives to stay up to date on techniques in restorative and cosmetic dentistry through continuing education.She says, Bringing a smile to my patients is the most rewarding thing about being a dentist. Dr. Singh has been working with both adult and pediatric patients, delivering high quality care to families in Bethesda and Gaithersburg.Dr. Singh grew up in Ontario, Canada and now resides in Bethesda, Maryland. She likes to do a variety of exciting things when not practicing such as travelling and outdoor activities in the summer, skiing in the winter, and even volunteering for local South Asian organizations. Dr. Singh is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Maryland State Dental Association.

My old dentist in College Park told me that I needed a root canal and two crowns. Yikes! I went for a second opinion with Dr Singh and she really told me the truth, not just a line to get more $ out of me. She said that I only needed to get one crown instead and the other tooth was fine. I'll trust Dr Singh forever after that experience!

Dr Singh really is the best dentist in the College Park area! She takes the time to field dental questions and doesnt rush me. She is accurate and skilled with her work. I wont go to any other dentist but her!
The staff at this dental practice are really impeccable at seeing me on time for my appointments! They are always consistent which is what I need as my time for dental/medical appointments are limited due to my work. They really run like clockwork and are really great at what they do!
