The Coldwater Fire Department offers a range of firefighting and rescue services. It is operated by City of Cold Water and provides various fire prevention services that include construction plan review and code application, juvenile firesetter counseling and fire safety inspections. The department also conducts fire station tours for school children. Its emergency services include fire suppression, medical aid, high angle rope, ice and confined space rescue, victim assistance and arson investigation. Additionally, the fire department provides smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The Coldwater Fire Department staffs firefighters and offers tornado safety services.
