- Stroke RehabilitationSarah graduated from Stony Brook University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010 after receiving her Bachelors degree in Psychology, with concentrations in Physical Therapy and Business, from Clarkson University in 2007. She has experience working in orthopedic and neurological physical therapy in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings, and she is a long time member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She has been certified by the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Association specializing in stroke rehabilitation and is in the process of completing a manual therapy certification with emphasis on spine therapy. She is excited to be back home in Vermont and enjoys spending her free time with her family, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, running obstacle course races, or just enjoying the outdoors.
- NeurologyIn graduate school, she was involved in research focused on neurological effects of both aging and Parkinson’s Disease. Her research background in both natural aging and Parkinson’s disease has made balance training, fall prevention, and exercises tailored to Parkinson’s Disease one of her professional passions. She has taken a variety of continuing education courses including LSVT BIG for individuals with Parkinson’s, Vestibular Rehabilitation Training with American Institute of Balance, and courses with Postural Restoration Institute and many others. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and its Neurology Section. After undergoing her own orthopedic surgery during college, Jackie feels it is a privilege to work alongside her patients as they navigate recovery: sharing in the challenges and victories of the rehabilitation process and empowering clients with both knowledge and confidence to achieve their goals.
- Mental HealthTom attended Lyndon State College for Television Production and lives in Barre with his wife and son and various pets. He’s been a fixture in the area for several decades and brings a background in education, mental health, and disability advocacy to the gym. He’s got a wide variety of hobbies including performing in a variety of musical, stage, and digital productions, cooking, spending time with family and petting kitties.

- Sports MedicineMichael earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont with a concentration in Athletic Training and Exercise Physiology. Mike is a state licensed and nationally certified Athletic Trainer and he holds additional certifications as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine, respectively. Mike is an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Vermont Association of Athletic Trainers, where he served as president for four years and was the legislative affairs chairman for 18 years. He also serves as an advisor to the Vermont Department of Professional Regulation. He specializes in lower extremity and shoulder injuries and has particular interests in the throwing athlete, performance enhancement through speed, agility, and quickness development, injury prevention, and working with athletes at Colchester High School. Mike’s time away from work is spent coaching track and field and baseball, enjoying the outdoors with his wife, two sons and dog, running, hiking, golf, skiing and snowshoeing.

- Aquatic TherapyBritni graduated from Northeastern University in May 2009 with a Clinical Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked at the RehabGYM since graduating and has gained experience with both children and adults. Britni has a special interest in neurological and musculoskeletal impairements, aquatic therapy, and preventative care. Outside of work, she enjoys being active with all of the outdoor activities Vermont has to offer and spending time with close friends and family.
- Manual TherapyAmy earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the George Washington University. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the College of the Holy Cross, where she also rowed crew and figure skated competitively. She is experienced in treating all orthopedic conditions with special interests and training in Functional Dry Needling, manual therapy, and treatment of peripheral vestibular disorders. Amy is a native Vermonter and loves all things outdoors. Outside of the gym, you can find her running with her dog, paddle boarding, wake surfing, or skiing.
