Wish I didn't have to give this 1 star! My review is that this place is Horrible! How is this place still here???? . They did nothing to rectify our complaints with our meals. What a total waste of a date night!!!

Last night our party of ten people visited Ava Cucina to celebrate my birthday. My wife, who put the evening together had asked me where I wanted to go for the event and I requested this restaurant without hesitation. I had been quite impressed during our first visit a couple months ago, and last night did nothing to change my opinion. Everybody in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals which ran the gamut from steak to chicken to seafood. The service was perfect, with just enough attention without hovering. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel that we owned the table for the evening and, before we knew it, we were closing the place! The atmosphere is a cross between European chic and Boston's North End. The wine list seemed more than adequate to satisfy most diners and the martinis were also a hit. We will be certain to return as frequently as our waist lines will allow, more often than not with friends in tow! Thank You, Annette and Vinnie!

Celebrated wife's birthday in great style at this excellent new Italian restaurant in Cohasset center. Warm environment, attentive service, generous servings of wonderful food.and scrunmptious deserts--the lasagna and the tiramisu are terrific.

Really enjoyed everything about it. It used to be a place known as Bernards and the new owners did a great job with the renovations and making it very cozy! Thought the food was very good and affordable. It really was like being in the north end but on the south shore!

I have to disagree, I went there this past week for my husbands birthday and we loved it! I had the lasagna and thought it was amazing and my husband had the chicken parm which he also loved and for dessert we had the tiramisu---delicious! Would definitely go back!!

Eh, in my opinion, food was mediocre at best. Staff could have been a little more pleasant and more organized and should have known the menu better. Definately won't be trying again....
