The worst cable company I have EVER dealt with. The actual in town location and the 1-800 number are absolutely useless. Our bill continually changed with no explanation and at one point they claimed we owed them 260$ from back charges after we moved... Even though we paid our entire balance before moving because we had to. After we cancelled cable with them, the employee told us there was no rush to bring the box back as long as it was in the week. Come to find out if it's not returned within 48 hrs, they charge you 50$. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this company and I do not recommend them to anyone.

TWC is the best of the worst. I'm tired of slow 20 down 2 up at $55 a month when I could move to a fiberhood with a gigabit up and down -_- F.UCK YOU TWC AND COMCAST - I WANT FASTER INTERNET AND/OR A WAY LOWER MONTHLY PAYMENT

They are the WORST! I read the reviews and my gut told not to get Time Warner cable. But I did it anyway. God how I wish I hadn't. I am so stupid.

Well I guess I don't understand. I thought that this was a connection with Time Warner but the person that answered the phone said it wasn't. I wanted to file a complaint about the company and I am having a heck of a time trying to contact someone.

Time Warner gives a good product, I can say I hardly ever have any problems with my connection. When I do however, the customer service is atrocious. I had to wait a week to get my service back up and when they did get it back up, it turned out one of their repairmen had previously shut it off without telling anyone. Needless to say the repair man who helped me had a good laugh, he thought it was funny. I was still billed for my service to get it fixed and my period without accessibility. When I am done with my schooling I will look at other alternatives. The product they provide is good!

I'd give them 0 if I could. My bill just went from $120 to $184. I told them repeatedly since signing up I did not want the premium package, but there it is on my bill. The installer was snarky and awful and didn't connect it right. When I called billing about the latest bill, I was told I'd have to go into their office to get it fixed. Their people are always polite while screwing you over. Opt out billing was outlawed years ago, yet they are still doing it.

There is no number to call the local store so if you have an issue you have to call people that won't help. I've been waiting over 2 hours so far for my payment to process when I brought it to the local store.

I took my modem back and nobody told me that me email would be disconnected when I returned the modem. After an hour and half hold times with their 1-800 customer service people I have to now go get the modem and start over. Not happy at all!

Tried to get my internet set up online and it took 30 - 40minutes, I now have to go into the local office to finish setting it up. The customer service is really slow which I have not experienced before in the past. I think the guy I spoke with was a new trainee. Shouldn't be this hard just to hook up service which I have had before. Not satisfied!

for surfing the net it is great. i use it for console gaming and it is horrible. there isnt any consistancy in the signal and after two years TW still cannot fix the issues. good luck with customer service after 5pm... you get transfered to some place were english might be there second language. my contract is up in july and i am going to explore my options. you should too.

Mis-information/lying

I have had services with TW for less than a month...first, they never offered DVR or anything else. Second, they gave me a run-a-round when I called about DVR services. Third, the whole system is completely unorganized, take a look at everyone elses services and you'll see kids shows with kids shows, etc. Fourth, we decided to get TiVo cause the DVR is faulty and doesn't let us watch a full show and their only fix is rebooting it (mind you, it doesn't work), they tell us to go down to the office to get a cable card. We call to make sure they have one they tell we have to set up an appt cause there is a "special" tool to install the card, total BS. We have to pay 29.99 to waste a techs and our time, plus waste time calling these inept center agents. There is NO way to contact the local office via phone, you get sent to the call center where it rarely recognizes your info from the ph-line you have with them. Being lied to, given mis info, run-a-round, no compensation, etc. isn't good
