      Simmers Builders opened it's doors in 1982 by Lloyd Simmers, President, and Sondra Simmers, Vice President, as a diverse construction company creating affordable quality homes, additions and renovations. Through the years we have constructed many commercial buildings including the Westwood Fire Company, handicap homes, and restored historical sites to the most original order of the era. We are also able to do light industrial and heavy construction as well. With all of our endeavors we start at the concept and work with you through the completion of your project using quality materials along with expert craftsmanship.       We used Simmers Builders for a 2 story addition for in law suite, the started and completed the job on time. Price was very reasonable and materials were of high quality. They have carpenters with a great quality of skills and did a wonderful job. We are very happy with the results and have referred to multiple people. DM

      Overall installation was quite good however the materials (except siding which we selected) were only builder grade. Doors don't shut or lock properly, 36" windows don't open even 12" to fit an air conditioner and builder was aware we used/required window units. Also, very poor at communication and being punctual. If you use this company and your hoping for a quality result, be sure to select all your own materials! And be prepared to make lots of phone calls.
